Login without cellphones / mobile

Hey there, Alex! I hope this message finds you well. I just posted a feature request on the Macintosh Garden page, but for additional visibility, I thought I'd also share it here.

I just realized MacinCord cannot run unless you download the Discord Mobile app on a cellphone, then you login on that, then you can use it to generate a login QR Code, then we can provide that to the relay within 2 minutes (according to https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039213771-QR-Code-Login-FAQ ), then we can confirm on the mobile app that we consent to the login.

This being the only login method currently available makes the app, at its present state, unusable for me, because it ties the phone device to whatever you relay is running on. This is a privacy nightmare... Which is not to say otherwise Discord itself is good for privacy, but at the bare minimum, we want to keep any phone-related data/info/meta-data 100% untied to any other device we may use Discord with, especially our Mac OS Macs & its relay devices. I personally never use a mobile device for anything I also use on desktops, laptops or any other computing devices (to keep things as separate as I can).

Someone also created a GitHub issue for this (at https://github.com/alexhoopes/macincord-relay/issues/1 ) on the relay page, with which I wholeheartedly agree. I simply cannot and must not log in to Discord via their Mobile app + QR Code route.

Could this possibly be looked into?

Thank you, and sorry for the extra trouble!
