All correspondence will be answered. "Tic Tac Mac" is an unusual Tic Tac Toe game for kids of all ages. The graphics are colorful, the program is system 7.0 compatable, and the algorithm is very challenging. The program has the following features: (1) The user chooses who moves first and what symbol the user prefers. Instead of the usual X and O, this program draws the image of a little boy's face or a little girl's face. (2) The little boy and little girl images are drawn in color. (3) If the computer moves first, the first move is random. All other moves are based on the computer's best knowledge. (4) The user moves by clicking the mouse in the desired square. (5) An "UNDO" function is included in case the user changes their mind about a particular move. (6) If a winning path is detected, the winning squares light up, the winner is declared, and frowns appear on the losing players' faces. (7) If the game ends up tied, a tie is declared. (8) A running tally of wins, losses, and ties is continually updated. (9) A variety of colorful and helpful sets of instructions are featured. All choices can be made with the mouse. (10) The user can quit the game at any time by choosing the "QUIT" rectangle in lower left of the screen. (11) I haven't beaten the computer yet. How about you? The program was developed on a Macintosh IIci, using the Macintosh Programmer's Workshop. The language used was Pascal.
