Run for the Money read me RFTM is a 24-bit application that works in vmac & minivmac with system 6 or earlier. It was designed to work with the 64K ROM found in the early 128K and 512K Mac models (there is a 128K version of minivmac but it needs the rare 64K ROM). RFTM also works with the MacPlus version of minivmac when all these files are in the same folder: RFTM RFTMcontrols RFTMdemo RFTMgraph RFTMgraphics RFTMscreen RFTMsong RFTMspread The runmon.gif (from Daxeria's game request sticky at the Macgarden site) shows what the main playing area looks like. Running RFTM brings up splash screens (click mouse to skip) and a dialog box. Clicking "New Game" leads to 3 choices: "Beginner" (start with $1000 and longer turns), "Expert" ($800), and "Tycoon" ($400 and fastest turns). "Old Game" resumes a saved game. "Tutorial" gives more info about the game's features. "Graph" and "What If" explain some of the screens that appear later in the game. "Controls" shows keyboard commands for the left & right players, and "Quit" exits the tutorial. Use the "Quit" in the main box to exit the game.
