If the sound card is functioning properly, check that you have enough available RAM, are using the latest drivers and that QuickTime is installed. Display Problems A 256-color VGA display is required, as well as a monitor with 640x480 resolution. Given the wide variety of different video cards and the various drivers for each card, it is impossible to test all of them. Some video cards or drivers may cause display errors and irregularities. If you experience problems, contact the video card manufacturer for the latest driver version for Windows. Error Messages or Performance Problems. Because VroomBooks uses QuickTime for Windows, some QuickTime for Windows files are installed on your hard drive. It is important that all the QuickTime for Windows files remain in the directory they are originally installed in. Moving these files will cause an error message when you try to start the program. For optimum performance, interactive multimedia software requires adequate memory. Therefore, check that you have enough available RAM and that you are using the correct video and sound drivers.
