MarioÕs FUNdamentals (CD-ROM) Read Me File Version 1.1 This Read Me file is installed to your hard disk when you install the game. A copy of the Read Me file can also be found on the CD-ROM. System Requirements To play Mario's FUNdamentals, you need the following Macintosh setup: ¥ Any Macintosh with a 256-color monitor ¥ System 7.0 or later ¥ 1700K free memory or more (2048K free memory is recommended) ¥ Before you install, be sure you have 7 megabytes of free hard disk space to store the program After you install the program to your hard disk, you don't need to insert the CD-ROM to play. You can just double-click the "Mario's FUNdamentals" icon on your hard disk to begin. Installing the Game 1. Insert the MarioÕs FUNdamentals game disc into the CD-ROM drive. Double-click the Installer icon and follow the instructions on your screen. 2. You can install two versions of MarioÕs FUNdamentalsª to your hard disk. Choosing ÒStandard InstallÓ in the Installer will take up 7MB of hard disk space. If you have more than 7MB available, you can optionally perform the ÒBig Install,Ó which will take up a total of 10MB of hard disk space. The Big Install features better sound quality but takes up 3MB more space. ItÕs your decision. 3. After installing the program to your hard disk, you donÕt need to insert the CD-ROM disc to play. Simply double-click the ÒMarioÕs FUNdamentalsÓ icon on your hard disk to begin. Registering The Game With Brainstorm To register Mario's FUNdamentals with Brainstorm please double-click the "Register with Brainstorm" application on the CD-ROM. Ê This will let you register the game electronically if you have a modem, so you won't have to mail in a registration card. If you don't have a modem, you can still print out the form and mail or fax it to us. Registering the game will let us notify you about any future upgrades, patches, or special offers. Note for owners of a 12" monitor or a Macintosh Color Classic Hold down the Command key and press the space bar to hide or un-hide the menu bar. Note for Macs with two or more monitors Please make sure both monitors are set to 256 colors before you begin playing the game. Is Mario taking too long to think about his Checkers move? If you want Mario to stop thinking about his Checkers move, you can press the space bar to make him go ahead and make the best move he has come up with so far.
