Majestic Part I: Alien Encounter

1. System Requirements

In order to run this game smoothly, you will need the following:

	- 68030 or faster, or PowerMac
	- System 7.1 or later
	- 8MB RAM (4096k free)
	- 640x480 256 colors
	- Doublespeed CD-ROM drive


2. Installing the game

You will need to copy the extensions included in the folder "Contents for System Folder" on the Majestic CD to the "Extensions" folder inside of your "System Folder". 

	- QuickTimeŞ (version 2.1)
	- QuickTimeŞ PowerPlug (required only if you have a PowerMac)
	- Sound Manager (version 3.1)

If you have earlier versions of these extensions, remove them from your "Extensions" folder and use the ones we've included on the CD instead.

You may copy the Majestic file to your hard drive and run it from there if you wish. This is not neccessary but will improve performance.  This file requires about 23 megs of disk space.


3. Running the Game

Double-click on the Majestic icon to launch the game.


4. Notes

It is very important that you have Virtual Memory turned OFF.  You may check this in the Memory conrtol panel.

If you copied the Majestic file to your hard drive, you may adjust the amount of RAM it can use when launched.  To do this, highlight the icon and select Get Info from the File menu.  If you set the Preferred size to more than 4096k then Majestic will take advantage of this and perform better.  In many cases, the more memory you allot it the quicker it will run.
