Make a good start
  (hint)
  * First equip your people. Go outside to the first hut on the left and
    get the goodies.
  * Go back inside the city defeat the Rat Overlord. "Rats" is a good word
    to remember.
  * Make sure everyone has swim skills and go outside to the first
    fountain on the left. Drink.
  * Go to the next town to the south. Buy Mountaineering skills and
Woodsman skills Now - cruise through all the mountains collecting
    goodies.
  * Be sure and go south near the island with the Gargoyles - you should
find at least one Obsidian object - normally a weapon.
  * Next teleport or take the boat to Swamptown - hit the mountain areas
and lakes - you will find several more obsidian objects.
  * Above all else remember this, just because you can't see it - it
    doesn't mean it isn't there.

General Hints
  (hint)
  * There are six sequence cards needed to finish the game; The first is
    held by the Mummy King.
  * To become the Ultimate Warrior search the Maze from Hell.
  * Purchase the skill of Master Merchant for all you party members. This
will save quite a substantial amount of gold throughout the course of
the game. Not only in buying and selling items but in obtaining
    training as well.
  * Donate heavily at the temples! The later in the week the better!
  * Any item with a name containing the modifier "OF" has the power of
casting the magic described. For example, a Rod of Energy Blast
contains the power of casting Energy Blast.
  * You will find every magic spell during your travels throughout the
land so it is not necessary to buy all the spells at the guilds.

Hints for specific places in the game
  (hint)
  * There is a bunch (2 million) in gold in the dragon's cave.
  * While in the chamber of the Dragon Lord use your Wizards' Eye spell.
There is a very valuable hidden chamber off to the side that can be
    reached only by teleporting.
  * The dungeon below Castle Blackwind is an extremely frustrating maze.
All of the necessary statues occupy the corners of the room. Teleport
to the corners and you will be able to complete the dungeon without
having to find the correct path.
  * The Swampy Island has deadly areas of quicksand. Whenever you are
exploring outside of Swamptown be sure to levitate your party.
  * In the dungeon below Castle Greywind some of the piles of treasure are
    real.
  * There are four hourglasses in the dungeon of Castle Greywind. You can
make the fourth one appear by turning the three visible hourglasses so
the sand is at the top and then ring the gong.
  * The Ultimate Power Orbs that are the most difficult to obtain are the
ones located in the Main Engine Sector. When the crystals along the
corridors are touched they produce artificial aging, however, there
are places where there are crystals behind the foremost ones. If you
are able to locate these crystals they will transport you into a room
where another UPO has been stored.
  * As soon as your party has acquired the skill of swimming you can
access the island in Cripple Creek. The fountain on this island will
enhance each of your characters level by +20 temporarily.
  * The Ancient Temple of Moo contains the idol which bestows the rank of
Crusader upon all who reach it.
  * Just outside Fountainhead is a gypsy caravan that will sell the
temporary use of the Wizard's Eye spell for 10 gold pieces. This can
be used to great advantage until your sorcerer gains the spell
    permanently.
  * When walking on the desert islands it is best not to dig up anything
that is buried in the sand until you are very strong. The treasure is
great but so is the monster that protects it.
  * The treasure chests on the desert islands become real one day of the
    week.
  * If you keep the majority of your gold pieces in the bank at
Fountainhead you will greatly benefit from the 1% interest payments.
  * To find love for Princess Trueberry search the small island off the
shores of Wildabar, but only accessible when out at sea. Time Distort
from the Magic Island. Althea, Nymph of the Great Sea causes all male
    characters to fall in Love.
  * In the Cathedral of Carnage each head has two levers. One will turn on
the electricity, the other will bring forth the moaning head. There
are 8 moaning heads in the centre chamber, 8 heads x 2 levers = 16
    levers.
