BASILISK GAMES END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

Let's cut through all the legal mumbo-jumbo and get right down to it:

1) You are not allowed to hack Eschalon: Book III. It's not cool to rip sound, music or graphics out of the packed files. However, if you ask us nicely we might share some stuff with you.

2) Once you buy a Registration Code, you can use it to install Eschalon: Book III as many times as you want, on all your computers, for as long as you want. We only ask that you don't use it to unlock a copy for your friend or that weird guy that lives down the hall (the one with the odd-smelling apartment). Tell you friends and that guy to just buy their own Registration Code. That way you're not breaking the law and we get a few extra bucks to feed our kids while we work on another game for you.

3) At some point, there will be tools available for you to make your own maps and mini-adventures with the Eschalon: Book III game engine. Cool, huh? The thing is, you can make maps and adventures (we'll call this "new content") for your friend and other people online, but you CAN NOT SELL this new content. Repeat: You can not make your own game out of the Eschalon: Book III engine and assets, and then sell it for a profit. Maybe if you make some really good stuff, we'll consider partnering with you to sell it or we'll license our engine to you, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Alright, that wasn't so hard now, was it? Go on, just play the game already!
