Top Premium Module Issues (and How To Resolve Them)
- How do I start a Neverwinter Nights Premium Module?
- Now that your new module is installed, you are ready to begin. Follow the "How Do I Play?" steps to start your adventure.
- Note: To play the full version of this module, you must have purchased it from the BioWare Online Store.
- When attempting to play a purchased premium module, it will not load past the message "Please wait while we authenticate your Premium Neverwinter Nights Module".
- Please ensure that you are connected to the internet and that any security measures (firewall/router) are properly configured to allow Neverwinter Nights access to the internet. Premium Modules need to authenticate ownership online each time a new game is started or a saved game is loaded.
- If you have a hardware firewall/router ensure that it is configured properly.
- If you have WINXP Pro SP2 installed ensure that the built in firewall is properly configured.
- If you are running a personal firewall, check the Personal Firewall Configuration FAQ for configuration tips.
- Attempt to connect to an Neverwinter Nights online multiplayer game, if that is successful try hosting an online multiplayer game. If you are unable to connect to a multiplayer game, most likely there are external factors (firewall, ISP, Router) preventing you from doing so.
- When attempting to play a purchased Premium Module, the authentication error "110623" is displayed stating that ownership of the module could not be verified.
- This error is most often caused by having an installation of Neverwinter Nights installed with a different CD-key then you purchased the game with.
- Please ensure that your current installation of Neverwinter Nights is using the same CD-keys that you purchased the modules with.
- To view or change the CD-Key an installation of NWN is using, please follow these instructions.
- How to re-download a purchased Premium Module:
- All purchased digital content can be downloaded from the BioWare Store as many times as you require. You can download modules you have purchased at any time from Your BioWare Store Downloads page (note, you will need to log in with your account). This page contains download links for each of the premium Neverwinter Nights modules you have purchased. Click the link and select "Open" to begin the download process.
