Play the Game

Select one of the "New Game" items from the Brickles Pro File Menu. You can choose a 1, 2 or 4 paddle game.

Click the mouse within the game area of the Brickles Pro window to begin the game.

Click the mouse again to pause the game.

Try clicking the ZOOM Button of the Brickles Pro window to enjoy playing Brickles Pro in full-screen mode.

When the game is paused, you can configure the game to your liking by using the menus or the Brickles Pro Toolbar. Click any of the icons in the middle row of the toolbar to change an aspect of the game.

The toobar icons, from left to right, allow you to customize the speed of the game, the size of the paddle, the size of the ball, the colors used, whether all the Brickles are the same color or multi-colored, and the Brickles array design.

Sound confusing? No problem, just keep clicking on the Brickles Pro Toolbar icons...you can't hurt anything, and you'll quickly see for yourself what each click on the toolbar does. Keep clicking until you see what you like.

Brickles Pro can be thought of as more than a dozen games in one. In past versions of Brickles, every level of the game was the same; the brickles were always arranged in a 10 by 10 rectangular array. In Brickles Pro, there are more than a dozen different brickle array designs to choose from.

By using the appropriate tool in the Brickles Pro Toolbar, you can cycle through all the different brickles array designs. Like previous versions of Brickles, you can play Brickles Pro so that every level of the game uses the same chosen design, or you can choose to have each level be a random choice of one of the available designs (indicated by question marks in the array design icon of the Brickles Pro Toolbar).
