The TP MoGraph presets use Motion Graphics capabilities to produce their effects. You will need to have Thinking Particles as and MoGraph installed in order to use them.

TP MG Effector

The TP MG Effector preset uses MoGraph effectors to modify the size or velocity of particles.

On: Activates the preset. This parameter can be easily animated and switched on or off as needed.
Particle Group: Thinking Particles group that will be used.
Effector: MoGraph Effector that defines the influence.
Mode: Size: Maximum size of the influenced particles.
Acceleration: Maxiumum acceleration of the influenced particles.

TP MG Emitter

The TP MG Emitter is similar to the standard emitter except for the fact that most available parameters are controlled by effectors instead of simple values. In order to make this preset work correctly we recommended that at least one Plain Effector be assign to each effector slot. The number of particles the user can define will be the maximum number allowed. The real value varies between "0" and this defined value, depending on the creation effector strength.

On: Activates the preset. This parameter can be easily animated and switched on or off as needed.
Particle Group: Thinking Particles group that will be assigned to newly emitted particles.
Shape: Object that is used as a shape for the particle.
Emitter Type: Creation Effector: MoGraph Effector that controls the creation of particles.
Particle Number: Maximum number of particles emitted.
Threshold: Together with the Creation Effector, this parameter determines if particles should be created. The Threshold is subtracted from the strenght of the effector. If the resulting value is larger than "0" the particle in question will be created.
Size Effector: MoGraph Effector that controls the size of the created particles.
Size: Maximum size of the creeated particles. The real size is determined by multiplying this value with the strength of the effector.
Speed Effector: MoGraph Effector that controls the speed of particles.
Speed: Maximum speed of emitted particles in units per second.
Speed Variation: Variation of the speed of emitted particles. The resulting speed will not exceed the speed defined.
Life: Lifetime of particles.
Life Variation: Variation of particle lifetime. The resulting lifetime will not exceed the lifetime defined.
Spread Angle: Opening angle of the emitter conus.
Diameter: Diameter of the emitter.
Align: If true, particles will be aligned in the direction of movement during emission.

TP MG Group Change

The TP MG Group Change moves particles from one group to another, depending on the strength of a MoGraph effector.

On: Activates the preset. This parameter can be easily animated and switched on or off as needed.
From Particle Group: Thinking Particles group that contains the particles that are influenced.
To Particle Group: Thinking Particles group to which particles will be assigned, depending on the effector strength.
Effector: MoGraph Effector that controls the the group change of particles.
Threshold: Together with the Effector, this parameter determines if particles will change groups. If the strength of the effector is above the threshold, the particle will change groups.
