What the scene does

This example shows the use of the TP Vortex preset. A Vortex is created by emitting particles at the lower end of a spline while the spline is moving over a landcape. The TP Vortex setup gives these particles a vortex like motion.

How the setup works

---

TP Vortex needs the particles to have a velocity. This velocity is given to them in the general direction of their intended movement by aligning the TP Standard Emitter along the control spline of the Vortex. This is done with the help of an additional Null to give the emitter the correct rotation.
