Example 5

What the scene does
This scene simulates a silo being emptied into a horizontal tube.
How the setup works
The example consists of two main parts. The silo that will be emptied and the tube that will guide the particles away from the silo. First, the particles will be created in the silo using a TP Volume Emitter preset. They will be assigned to "Group 1".
The silo consists of an inner and an outer shell to prevent particles from intersecting the outer shell. The inner shell will be used to emit the particles in it; the outer will be used with the TP Object Collision preset to restrain the particles to the inside of the silo.
In the upper part of the silo, the TP Speed Limit preset will prevent the particles from being accelerated by the TP Planar Gravity preset.
This is done to create the natural look of particles only becoming faster when the silo narrows towards its lower end.
After the particles leave the silo a TP Group Change preset will be used to move them from "Group 1" to "Group 2" on collision with a collider in the middle of the TP Tube preset. Thanks to the shape and rotation of the collider the particles will be spread out nearly evenly when the tube starts to guide them.
