/*text_start*/\C020202Polyframes\C484848 is a display mode which shows the borders of all polygons in a mesh. When this mode is selected, grouped polygons can also be shown in randomly-assigned colors or shades of gray ('Polyfill'). Polyfills are viewable only when \C020202Texture Off\C484848 is selected in the \C020202Texture\C484848 palette.

\C020202Polyframes\C484848 mode requires that an object is in \C020202Edit\C484848 mode, and that \C020202Quick 3D Edit\C484848 is active (using the \C020202Transform>Quick 3D Edit\C484848 button or the hotkey shortcut \C020202F\C484848). To activate, press the \C020202Transform>Draw Polyframes\C484848 button or use the hotkey shortcut \C020202Shift+F\C484848.

When viewing Polyframes on a mesh with multiple resolutions, the line thicknesses give a visual indication of the the subdivision levels of the polygons. Thicker lines indicate lower levels -- the thickest lines display the edges of the base polygons at the lowest level. Thinner lines indicate polygons formed by subdividing in higher levels.

Preferences for \C020202Polyframes\C484848 mode are found in the \C020202Preferences>Draw\C484848 sub-palette:

\C020202Polyframe Opacity\C484848 controls the drawing strength of the polyframes.
\C020202Polyframe Color\C484848 is a picker which chooses the drawing color for the polyframes.
\C020202Polyframe Antialiased\C484848 draws with smoothed antialiased edges.
\C020202Variable Polyframe Opacity\C484848 activates/deactivates the varied line thicknesses on multiple resolution levels as described above.
\C020202Polyfill Color Opacity\C484848 determines the drawing strength of the polyfill effect.
\C020202Polyfill Color Saturation\C484848 determines the color saturation value for each randomly-assigned color.
\C020202Polyfill Gray\C484848 draws the polyfill effect using shades of gray instead of colors.
