/*text_start*/Markers provide an invaluable way to recall information about any 3D object that has been placed on the canvas. For example, a marker can redraw an object previously snapshot to the canvas (converted to pixols), or cleared entirely, thus enabling it to be edited again.

A marker must be placed while the object is 'active' -- that is, before another tool is selected or another instance of the same object is drawn on the canvas. To place a marker, press the \C020202Transform>Mark Object\C484848 button (hotkey \C020202M\C484848).

To recall a marker, float the cursor near it and a small arrow appears. Also, information about the marker appears in the \C020202Note Bar\C484848 above the canvas. To re-draw a new instance of the marked object, click once. To draw in a new size and orientation, click and drag.

Optionally, certain attributes can be recalled or ignored, using buttons in the \C020202Marker\C484848 palette. For example, turning off the \C020202Color\C484848 button enables you to draw the object anew using the current color, instead of the color used when the object was marked. These buttons affect only recalled attributes; all information is stored when an object is marked, regardless of these palette settings.

Marked objects can be drawn and manipulated as a single group, and even combined into a single mesh, using the \C020202MultiMarkers\C484848 tool.
