/*text_start*/To begin editing a 3D object, draw it on the canvas and press the \C020202Transform>Edit\C484848 button. Thereafter, the \C020202Draw Pointer\C484848, \C020202Move\C484848 and \C020202Scale\C484848 buttons become deformers. The way your mouse/tablet cursor interacts with the object's points depends on which deformer is selected.

With the \C020202Draw Pointer\C484848 selected (hotkey \C020202Q\C484848), the cursor interacts in a number of 'additive' ways. By default, it heaps bulk onto the surface of the object. If the \C020202Alt\C484848 key is pressed (or \C020202ZSUB\C484848 mode is selected), bulk is removed, drawing canyons or grooves in the object's surface.

Also, in this default \C020202Draw Pointer\C484848 mode, color and/or material can be added if \C020202MRGB\C484848, \C020202RGB\C484848, or \C020202M\C484848 is pressed.

Other Draw-Pointer modes can be selected from the \C020202Transform\C484848 palette; see the related ZScript.

With the \C020202Move\C484848 button pressed (hotkey \C020202W\C484848), the cursor pulls, pushes and pinches the surface of the object inside the draw radius. Click and drag out from the center to pull, click and drag toward the center to push, and click-drag out, then back again to pull and pinch.

With the \C020202Scale\C484848 button pressed (hotkey \C020202E\C484848), the cursor enlarges or shrinks the surface of the object inside the draw radius.
