/*text_start*/Subdivide a number of times (\C020202Tool>Geometry>Divide\C484848), arriving at a high-resolution mesh adequate for sculpting the desired level of detail.

Use any of ZBrush's tools, including \C020202Projection Master\C484848 to add detailed mesh displacements to this mesh level.

Return to the lowest level. Your mesh displacements have likely deformed the cage, so restore the original geometry by switching with the stored morph target (\C020202Tool>Morph Target>Switch\C484848) if the original shape is needed. If not, press the \C020202Cage\C484848 button (in the \C020202Tool>Geometry\C484848 sub-palette) to adjust its shape so it's ideally suited for the displacements which will be made.

The displacement map will be square; choose the width and height by adjusting \C020202Tool>Displacement>Displacement Image Resolution\C484848.

Press \C020202Tool>Displacement>Create DispMap\C484848. The displacement map is added to the \C020202Alpha\C484848 palette, and can be exported using \C020202Alpha>Export\C484848.

If the \C020202Best\C484848 button is pressed before generating the displacement map, a map is generated which is more accurate in detailed areas, and takes longer to generate.
