/*text_start*/All brushes can be saved for later use. Saving a brush will save any modifier settings, as well as the currently-selected \C020202Alpha\C484848. In addition, if a texture is selected ZBrush will provide the option to save that texture with the brush. When the brush is loaded, it will appear as a new icon in the Tool palette and will retain all of its saved settings.

To save a brush, press the \C020202Save As\C484848 button in the \C020202Tool\C484848 palette. Saving a brush will not store the \C020202Draw\C484848 palette settings, or the current color.

For some tools with few modifiers, saving is probably unnecessary. Brushes like the \C020202Fiber Brush\C484848 and the \C020202Custom Filters\C484848 have dozens of settings that can dramatically alter the brushes' effects. For example, you might save separate variations of the Fiber Brush to create moss, grass, hair, and eyelashes.
