/*text_start*/The Cloner Brush enables you to copy part of the document within a layer, or from one layer to another. Cloning is a two-step process:

\C0202021)\C484848 \C020202Ctrl\C484848-click the center of the area that you want to copy.
\C0202022)\C484848 Click again in a different part of the document to begin painting the clone.

Each time you click and drag again, you make an additional copy of the original area at a distance that's a multiple of the original offset. ZBrush always remembers the last offset you've chosen. After choosing an offset, you can clear the screen, start a new drawing, then use the Cloner Brush with the same offset.

You can use any \C020202Alpha\C484848 image, thus controlling the intensity and shape of the clone.

By enabling the \C020202Picker>Dynamic\C484848 option, you can make multiple copies at equal distances from each other with a single click and drag.

\C020202Modifiers:\C484848
\C020202Layers Mode:\C484848 When pressed, the Cloner Brush copies pixols from all other visible layers to the active layer, ignoring any pixols in the active layer.
\C020202Shaded:\C484848 Embeds the shading into the cloned image's base color.
\C020202RetainCenter:\C484848 By default, the Cloner Brush clones the same part of the image regardless of its offset distance. Turning off RetainCenter changes this behavior so that the offset distance is always taken into effect.
\C020202ZOffset:\C484848 When pressed, cloned pixols are placed at the pixol depth of the clone destination point. Normally, pixols are cloned at the same depth as the source pixols.
