/*title_start*/The Draw Palette/*title_end*/
/*text_start*/The Draw palette is essentially the 'central command' for drawing, painting and sculpting actions which add or modify pixols on the canvas. It is used to specify whether color, material, and/or depth are being applied to the canvas and in what quantities. The Draw palette is also used to change the size of the brush or edit tool.

For example: suppose you constructed a character's head on the canvas. You'd enable \C020202MRGB\C484848 and \C020202ZADD\C484848 (enabling material, color and depth) to draw the head. Turning off \C020202ZADD\C484848 and switching to \C020202RGB\C484848 (color only), you'd paint skin tones without distorting the depth or shape. Enabling \C020202ZADD\C484848 and disabling \C020202RGB\C484848 (depth only), you'd add a wart or two. Finally, you'd add gloss to the eyes and lips by turning off \C020202ZADD\C484848 and painting with \C020202M\C484848 enabled (material only).

The Draw palette is also home to two painting effects. \C020202Perspective\C484848 can greatly enhance the sense of depth within a scene, and \C020202Refraction\C484848 is used for transparency effects.
