/*title_start*/Q: How do I save a model?/*title_end*/

/*text_start*/\C020202A: \C484848Models created (or imported/modified) in ZBrush reside in the \C020202Tool\C484848 palette. These are not ordinarily included when the document is saved to disk.

To save a model, select it in the \C020202Tool\C484848 palette, and press the Tool>\C020202Save As\C484848 button. It will be saved in ZBrush's native ZTL format.

Models (a.k.a. 3D Tools) may also be exported using DXF or OBJ formats. When a tool is exported using the OBJ format, its texture is included in the export.

Customized textures and alphas are also not ordinarily included with saved documents. To save these, use the \C020202Export\C484848 buttons in the appropriate palettes and export them in common image formats. Similarly, customized materials which are not used anywhere in the canvas should be saved separately.
