/*title_start*/Q: How do I reselect an object?/*title_end*/

/*text_start*/\C020202A:\C484848 The ZBrush canvas is unlike the workspace in 3D modeling programs with which you might be familiar. Think of it as a painter's canvas: as you work on an image, you're continuously applying depth-enriched paint to the canvas.

Sometimes the paint is applied by a brush, and sometimes the paint is applied by a 3D tool which gives it the shape of an extruded object. After applying, the paint simply becomes part of the canvas image itself, and is normally removed only by pressing the \C020202Undo\C484848 button.

There's an exception: the most recently-applied stroke or object can always be transformed (repositioned, resized, and rotated) as long as another tool is not selected first. Also, any 3D object can be edited (sculpted and modified) under the same conditions.

Using \C020202Markers\C484848, you can mark all attributes of any 3D object so that you can always draw another just like it, in the same position. Additionally, you can use the \C020202MultiMarkers\C484848 tool to draw all marked objects at once, and transform them as a group or individually./*text_end*/
