Now we'll generate the displacement map.

ZBrush will calculate the differences between the highest-level mesh, and the mesh which occupies level 1. These differences will be represented by a 16-bit grayscale map (with over 65,000 gray levels), which will be added to the Alpha palette.

Options, such as map quality and resolution, are available from the Tool>Displacement sub-palette, and should be set prior to pressing the \C020202Make Displacement Map\C484848 button.
