The idea behind presets for Thinking Particles
Thinking particles usualy requires the user to have a fairly good knowledge of CINEMA 4Ds node based expression system XPresso as well as fundamental mathmatical knowledge. This makes it hard for many user who only need particle effects very seldomly and don't have the time to make themselves familiar with all the neccesary prerequisits.
This set of Presets will allow the setup of rather complexe particle effects without having to touch XPresso or mathmatics. It can be used very much in the same way as the standard particle system in CINEMA 4D, only that it has way more power.
All the presets are base on Null Objects that hold additional User Data fields as well as a XPresso tag with the needed expression. The User Data fields are the main controls for the presets.
In some cases the presets have additional child objects. Please only modify these children if the reference to the preset calls for it. In most cases the child objects are used to create a visible reference of the preset in the editor toallow for easier use.
