Registration:
Register Amapi Pro today to become eligible for technical support. You can register your product using the Registration card or via the e frontier Web site at the link below.

While learning or using Amapi Pro, you will certainly come up with questions that many other users have asked already. e frontier is constantly collecting such questions and answers, and updates the user's knowledge database of the product with them to provide a dynamic online forum in which to share them. CDROM versions:
The
product contains one CDROM, which contains both MAC and PC versions.
The Amapi
Pro CDROM contains two localized versions: English and French.
Download versions:
The
product is split in several compressed files:
- Amapi
Pro 7.5 PC (English and French)
- Amapi Pro 7.5 MAC (English and French)
After
uncompressing the files, the installation procedure is similar to the
procedure described for CDROM versions.
Installing Amapi Pro
MacOsX®:
To
install Amapi Pro, double click on the "Amapi Pro Install" icon, which
will launch the installer and guide you
through the installation.
Minimum system
requirements:
- Power Macintosh® G4 600 Mhz or better
- System 10.2 or later
- 256 MB of Application RAM
- 24-bit Color Display
- 3D graphics accelerator card
- CD-ROM Drive
- 300MB free hard drive space
MacOs8&9®:
Attention: Amapi Pro is not supported on MacOs8&9®
Windows®
To install Amapi Pro, double click on the
"Setup.exe" icon, which will launch the installer and guide you through
the installation.
Minimum
system requirements:
- Pentium® II 800Mhz or better
- Windows 98, 2000, XP or Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 3 or later
- 256 MB of Physical RAM
- 16-bit Color Display (24-bit recommended)
- 3D graphics accelerator card supporting OpenGL
- CD-ROM Drive
- 300MB free hard drive space
Update notes:
The book
contained in the product box and the pdf on-line manual contain the
documentation of Amapi Pro 7.1.
All the enhancements made in the current version are described in the
document named AmapiPro75US.pdf. Please read it carefully if you find
differences between the documentation and the application behavior.
3D real time rendering information:
The 3D real time rendering of Amapi Pro uses the OpenGL library. Click here for more information on the technical constraints associated with this technology.
