BINARY GAUGE -- TOY TRAINS ON YOUR APPLE 2
 2009 Hal Barwood / Finite Arts

Binary Gauge is a model railroading system for Apple 2 computers.
These days, that means modern machines running emulators.
(APPLEWIN, a very nice emulator for PCs, is included in this Zip.)

Here's how to get started:

* Look in the Applewin18 directory for APPLEWIN.exe;

* Make a shortcut and drag it somewhere useful;

* Start the emulator;

* Click on the DRIVE 1 BUTTON, and in the file dialog that appears,
  find Binary_Gauge_SYSTEM.dsk and open it;

* Click on the APPLE BUTTON to boot Binary Gauge;

* Once the program is running, you have several choices to make:
      > before you do much else, take a look at the documentation;
        there's a pretty good summary here on this disk.

* Follow instructions to build your own railroads -- it's pretty
  straightforward, but you'll need to consult the Operating Manual
  supplied with this zip to understand how the tools work.

* Binary Gauge railroads are visually crude, but you can lay
  a lot of track.

* All aboard..!
