This utility is from 1999 and has been lost from the interwebs for a long time.
I recently found it on an old laptop of mine, hence I am sharing it on
ftp.apple.asimov.net.

This is a quick startup guide to anyone who wishes to use the Deathlord disk
utilities made by Doom Golem. You should check that the following files were
included in the archive along with this file.

***** IMPORTANT *****
Before using the character editor:
1) Make a backup copy of your scenario disks.
2) Disband the current party on your scenario disks. (Using the in game tool)

To use the disk utilities, boot up dlutil.dsk in your Apple II emulator. It will
display a splash text and show an Apple Basic prompt.

NOTE - The util seems to work fine with the DeathLord NIB version, so you can
probably ignore the splash text pertaining to the Blackstar vs Saltine kracked
versions.

-- The command "RUN DLCHAR" to run the character editor.
-- The command "RUN DLMAPPER" to run the mapper.
Follow the onscreen instructions and enjoy.

Note that the mapper uses different names for the continents than found
elsewhere. Also, while you can raise the character attributes to 99, I suggest
not going past their in-game maximum values to avoid any unforseen bugs. I
haven't experienced any problems besides resurrection so it seems safe. If
anyone else finds any problems, send me email at darktoshi@yahoo.com (email may
be defunct).

Revision
1.01 - Reworded a bit. Converted this file to 80 char col. Replaced original
dlutil.txt file (original was a tar ball.) Removed scenario disks.
